Large picture was embroidered using variegated thread.  If you want to make your line embroidery designs pop with color try a multicolored thread.

The 4 x 4 designs were created using a 2.5 MM running stitch gone over a couple times to give a bold look. This would make a great quilt block or add to the bottom of a Tea Towel with your favorite quote.   The larger sizes fit a 5 x 7″ and 8 x 8″ hoop.   I used a backstitch, which gives the stitches more loft, resembling more of a hand embroidered look.
